During your 12-night retreat, you’ll stay at two distinctive places.

A Villa and Pool of Your Own

This will be your home base—surrounded by the beauty of the tropical jungle and rice fields. In the morning, you’ll awaken to soft light and the sound of roosters. You’ll also likely hear prayers by local priests and the faint sound of gamelan—the traditional music of Bali. With a vibrant village a short walk-away—you’re in the flow of Nyepi preparations and ceremonies. Indeed, this luxuriously comfortable villa is an ideal place for experiencing the rhythms of daily life during this sacred Balinese holiday.

A Room at the Sea

Soon after Nyepi, we’ll indulge in a 2-night stay at a 5-star beach resort. Picture moonlit nights of food, drinks, and easy breezy jalan jalans (walks) by the Indian Ocean. The horizon is also filled with stunning views of Agung, Bali’s most sacred volcano and home of the gods. It’s an ideal setting to relax—or as our Balinese friends say, “take chill”—explore, and enjoy!
